About the Company
Independent filmmakers and Arizona natives Richard Ryan and Dana Skvarek II joined forces in 2007 to create what would become Depleting Shadow Entertainment™, an independent film and television production company. Depleting Shadow Entertainment mission is to make quality films that offer excellence in production values and transcend into broad public appeal while delivering powerful stories and value-based films. One of the partners original goals with the company was to find ways to bring together the most talented and influential people in the Arizona entertainment industry and beyond. It was from this ideal that the Arizona Film And Entertainment Expo was born.
AZFAME
The Arizona Film And Media Expo (AZFAME) is owned by Depleting Shadow Entertainment and was created as an annual event to promote film and related industries in Arizona. In association with Gay Gilbert and the Arizona Film and Media Coalition, the Arizona Film And Media Expo is designed to provide exposure, networking and education. In 2010, Depleting Shadow Entertainment took on a third partner, David Grosse and set about expanding all aspects of the business, especially the expo. This year the expo will expand exponentially into one of the premier media events in the southwest. Once again the expo will bring together the most talented and influential people in the Arizona entertainment industry under one roof. This exciting two-day expo features numerous exhibitors and activities in the 32,000 sq. ft. main exhibition hall with large two seminar rooms running throughout the day. The event is topped off with the industries biggest party of the year Saturday evening – the AZ FAME AFTER PARTY!
